My husband and I met Ken and Debbie back in spring 2023 when we signed up for a homebuying workshop. The thing that made us decide to go with Ken and Good Friend Mortgage was that they truly had the small-town family feel. This was BY FAR the easiest closing I have ever gone through. Constant communication is very important at to me and Good Friend Mortgage exceeded my expectations. It was so nice to have a “broker” to shop around and find the best loan for us rather than individually contacting different mortgage companies. Good Friend did all the work for us. We ended up with a VA streamline refi that lowered our interest rate by more than 2%. Went from a 30 year mortgage to a 15 year mortgage which saves over 50K in interest payments, and our payment is still $50 less a month! All of this took less than a month from initial contact to the closing table. It was definitely a no brainer. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to refinance.

I can't say enough about this team. Ken literally made my home purchase possible when other places said nothing could be done. As a newly self employed business owner I had issues proving 2 years of income. Ken found me the right lender for me after Better Mortgage refused to work with me after taking me half way through the underwriting process and taking $1k dollars from me. I was frustrated. I called Ken and every conversation we had going forward involved solutions for any problem that arrised. He also got me a 3% interest rate. Lower than anyone else could provide.
